SPEAK-This is the book I'm reading

This book is about this girl namm Melinda and it's her first year in high school. She doesn't have any friends because she did something horriable to her frienda over the summer. In the summer time her and her friends were having a back to school party. The party was going fine, until Melinda called the cops because a boy tried to rape her. When the party was over, her friends were mad at what she did. So when school came nobody talked to Melinda and she felt real bad for herself. When she will try to look at her friends they ignor her or glare at her. Then she will just walk away. When she is in class she talks about them to herself. She will say bad things about them or say good and good times they had together. Then one day she made a friend name Rachel. She was kind of wierd to her but she needed a friend so bad, so they became friends. They would try to fit in groups or join in school clubs. They're doing that because they are bored, so they decided to make those chooses.


This is what i read so far in my book.

Today I had real fun becasue I went ice skating with my cousins and we had a lot of fun. Even though my legs were hurting me. The funny thing was that my cousin fell on the ice and I started to laugh at her. But she laughed at her self too. But I think we are going to back next week. I hope we will have as much fun as we did today.

When me and my grandma went on a cruise, we went to the Bahamas. Before I went on the plane to Florida I got reallly scared because this was my second flight and I don't know if it will be like my first time I went on a plane. I had to pray because I heard a lot stroies about planes. But when we got to Florida I was so happy because we got there safe.

Traveling is unperdictable because you don't know what will happen next. Your flight maybe bumpy in a rain storm and you may get into a real accident or your maybe like 9/11, but I don't wish that on anybody. You may lose your life cause of the plane. Traveling maybe fun for some people because they like the experience on the plane and they like to travel to different places. Some people think traveling is scary because they don'y like the plane. But they travel anyway to get to places so they can have a great time and just to get it over with. But overall traveling is fun once you get use to it.

When we went back on the ship I was so excited it was my first crusie and my first international trip. At night I got sea sick because I was not use to the ship like my grandmother.
When I went to bed, I alomst throw up on my bed, but I didn't. When we got to the Bahamas the trees were on the ground and the sand because of the hurricane that came before we got there.

But when we got to the beach the water was nice, warm, and clear. The little fishes were swimming together and I wanted to catch one, but I couldn't because they swam to fast. When we had to go we had to get on this boat to bring us back to the ship so we can buy something there or go back on the ship. When we got off this lady asked me and my grandma if we wanted to get our hair done in braids. My grandma said "no" and I said "yes". It only took a half a hour. When we went back on the ship, we had to get ready for dinner. The food was good sometimes because I've never tasted some of the food they had there, but when I tasted the food it was kind of good.

When we went back home, I was so excited that I went because now I know how other people in their country have a great time, work, and go to school. They're just like us in the United States. I wish I can go back some day and see how it feels to be there a second time and have a different experience then I had when I was little.
